The Recovery Residence Certification process is a new initiative aimed at ensuring that individuals recovering from substance abuse receive the best possible care and support in certified recovery residences. The certification process involves a rigorous evaluation of the residence's polices, procedures, and staff qualifications, with the goal of promoting safe and effective recovery environments.
By earning the Recovery Residence Certification, a recovery residence demonstrates its commitment to providing high-quality care and support to its residents. This certification also assures families and loved ones that their family member is receiving care in a safe and supportive environment.
Steps to Certification:
- Educated on City Ordinance 01-2024 & KRS 222.500 - .510
- Initiated the certification process via KRHN
- Up to date Business License with City of Elizabethtown (270) 765-6121
- Inspection by City Compliance Officer to ensure property maintenance and fire life safety regulations are met (this must be done before moving residents in).
- Annual proof of certification is required.
