SIGN UP FOR SERVICE
To establish service, customers are required to visit Elizabethtown Utilities office located on the first floor of City Hall located at 200 West Dixie Avenue in Elizabethtown. Valid photo ID is required.
Important Elizabethtown Utility Billing Information
All deposits remain on file and will be applied to the final bill when service is terminated.
Deposits & Fees
Residential Deposit: $100
Commercial Deposit: $100
Reconnection Fee: $50 or $75
Returned Check Fee: $50
Meters are read and billed monthly to the address on file. Payment is due by the date indicated on the bill. Accounts not paid within ten (10) days of the due date may be subject to service disconnection without further notice. Failure to receive a bill does not waive the responsibility for timely payment. Customers may contact the Utilities Office for a copy of their bill or enroll in an online account for 24-hour access to account information.
If service has been disconnected for nonpayment and payment is made online, customers must contact the Utilities Office to request reconnection. Once full payment, including any applicable fees, has been received, the City may take up to seventy-two (72) business hours to restore service.
To discontinue service, customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to the Utilities Department. Customers will remain responsible for all charges incurred until notice is received.
