2026 SPRING CLEAN-UP SCHEDULE
MARCH 30th THRU MAY 1st - JUNK AND DEBRIS
APRIL 27th THRU MAY 1st - APPLIANCES
GUIDELINES
(Residential Properties)
Items will be collected according to the attached schedule.
Place items near the street, not to interfere with traffic.
Avoid placing items under overhead power lines.
Place bulky items in open areas (within ten (10) feet from edge of street).
Do not mix brush with the Spring Clean-Up items.
MARCH 30th THRU MAY 1st - JUNK AND DEBRIS
Do not mix large items with smaller or bagged items. Secure loose items in good quality, clear plastic bags, not to exceed 50 pounds. Do not use cardboard boxes or garbage cans.
No garbage, hazardous materials, liquids (paints, oil, antifreeze, etc.), construction debris, tires, or automobiles will be collected.
APRIL 27th THRU MAY 1st - APPLIANCES
COLLECTED ON A CALL-IN BASIS ONLY, 270-737-7890
De-humidifiers, washing machines, dryers, ranges, & water heaters will be collected and recycled.
PLEASE NOTE THAT APPLIANCES CONTAINING FREON WILL NOT BE COLLECTED WITHOUT A TAG, INDICATING THAT THE FREON HAS BEEN REMOVED. THESE INCLUDE REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS, AIR CONDITIONERS, AND CENTRAL AIR UNITS.
Plastic bags are available at the Department of Public Works, 301 Waterworks Drive, Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and at the Pritchard Community Center 404 S. Mulberry, Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost is $3.00 for 25 bags or $27.00 for a case of 250 bags.
JUNK AND DEBRIS – MARCH 30th THRU MAY 1st
Area One: West of US 31-W and North of KY 1357.
Area Two: West of US 31-W, South of KY 1357, and North of CSX Railroad.
Area Three: East of US 31-W and North of KY 251.
Area Four: East of US 31-W and South of KY 251.
Crews will begin in Area One on March 30th. Crews will return to each area as often as they are able to during the month of April.
LIMITED BRUSH COLLECTION WILL BE SCHEDULED DURING THIS TIME
