Pritchard Community Center is a multi-use facility that serves as a hub for community programs, events, and city activities throughout the year. The center hosts a variety of public meetings and offers rental space for individuals, organizations, and businesses for a wide range of uses.

The facility also provides indoor recreation opportunities, including basketball, volleyball, tennis, and racquetball, and houses the administrative offices for the City of Elizabethtown Parks & Recreation Department. Outside, visitors can enjoy the Arboretum & Botanical Garden, offering a peaceful outdoor setting alongside the center.

Room Rentals
Pritchard Community Center offers a variety of rental spaces to accommodate a wide range of events and gatherings. Options include small meeting rooms, large multipurpose gyms, or rental of the entire facility, depending on the size and needs of your event. The center can be configured for everything from small family gatherings to larger meetings, expos, and community events. Meeting Rooms (Mulberry & Sycamore) 

The Mulberry and Sycamore rooms are ideal for small gatherings or meetings, with each room accommodating up to 56 guests. Both rooms include a kitchenette and offer direct access to the community center patio, which is surrounded by the arboretum and botanical gardens. For larger events, the alcove between the two rooms can be opened to create a combined space for additional capacity.

Multi-Purpose Gyms (Pine & Oak)

The Pine and Oak rooms are designed to accommodate large events, including conventions, expos, meetings, and group gatherings. Each room can host up to 246 guests and is lined as a full-size basketball court with two permanent goals, making the spaces suitable for athletic use, practices, or open play when scheduled.

The Oak Room includes a kitchenette, large stage, and dressing room, supporting performances, presentations, and special events. The Pine Room connects directly to the building’s commercial kitchen, making it well-suited for catered events. For expanded capacity, the center wall between the two rooms can be opened to create one large, combined space.

• We offer a 50% discount for non-profit organizations located in Hardin County (this only applies to the room rental)

• Commercial Kitchen: All room rentals come with access to the commercial kitchen. A minimum $50.00 charge will be added if the kitchen is left unclean by the renter.

Pritchard Community Center offers a variety of sports and recreational activities:

• Basketball: $1 per person
• Racquetball: $5 per court, per hour
• Racquet Rental: $1 each
• Indoor Tennis Court (seasonal): $35 for 1.5 hours
• Volleyball: Requires rental of the Pine Gym

Arboretum & Botanical Garden
The Arboretum and Botanical Gardens at Pritchard Community Center offer visitors the opportunity to explore a variety of garden styles, plant selections, and landscaping techniques. The gardens feature native and specimen trees and shrubs along the banks of Valley Creek, along with perennial and seasonal flower beds that provide color from late winter through the first frost.

Plant selections throughout the gardens are designed to attract pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, creating a welcoming and educational outdoor space for visitors of all ages.

Groups may schedule guided tours, and garden and trail maps are available at the Pritchard Community Center.
