American Legion Park is one of Elizabethtown’s most active recreation destinations, offering a mix of family-friendly amenities, outdoor activities, and sports facilities. Par-3 Golf CourseOur 9-hole Par 3 golf course, located in American Legion Park, offers a relaxed, walk-only golfing experience for players of all skill levels. The course is open daily from 7:00 am until SUNSET, with hole distances ranging from 85 to 180 yards, making it a great option for beginners or those looking to sharpen their short game.

Funtopia is a fully ADA-accessible playground located in American Legion Park and was rebuilt and reopened in 2021 to better serve the community. Designed with accessible play in mind, the playground ensures children of all abilities can play, explore, and interact together. Separate play areas for ages 2–5 and 5–12 provide age-appropriate, safe fun, while inclusive features like slides, swings, sensory and interactive panels, and the Alta Glide Flex create an engaging experience for everyone.
American Legion Park features 12 regulation pickleball courts, opened in 2023 and available for free play daily from 7:00 a.m. until dusk. Equipment is available at no cost through the on-site golf shop; just exchange a driver’s license, and you’re ready to play. These courts offer a fun and active way for players of all skill levels to enjoy the park.
The American Legion Waterpark is a popular summer destination offering something for all ages. The facility includes a main pool with a deep end, two waterslides, a play structure, a lazy river, and an adjacent splash pad for younger children. The waterpark typically opens each season on Memorial Day Weekend and closes when Elizabethtown Independent Schools resume each fall.
