The intent of the weather sirens is for an outdoor warning.  They should be able to be heard when outdoors during an emergency. 

Many residents can hear the City's siren's from inside their homes, but please do not solely rely on them. The best form of preparedness for inclement weather is a NOAA weather radio.  For more information, please visit  https://www.weather.gov/nwr .  

If at any time you hear the outdoor weather sirens, please seek shelter immediately.  

The outdoor weather sirens are tested twice monthly on the second and fourth Tuesdays at noon.  If there is rain or inclement weather in the forecast, we will cancel testing for that day.
