Every August the Heartland Homecoming Parade has become a tradition to celebrate the rich history of Elizabethtown. Grab a chair and line the streets with the other 10,000 community members to wave to 80 plus parade entries and celebrate our homecoming! 
This year's theme is "PARTY IN THE U.S.A." and is in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  

The 2026 Heartland Homecoming Parade will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 10am and begins on the Downtown Elizabethtown Square, travels north on West Dixie Ave, concluding at the intersection of St. John Road.
